This fall’s Continuum Food Safety release focuses on three things: FSSC 22000 record-keeping, records you can stand behind, and no more missed inspections.
FSSC 22000 records, built in
- Ten registers for FSSC 22000 version 6, next to your daily logs: plans, incidents, management review, environmental monitoring, equipment and calibration, training and competence, hazard analysis and HACCP, product development and labels, verification, and specifications
- Editor and approver roles, so nothing is approved while something is missing
- Review reminders on the cycle you set
Records you can stand behind
- Read-only audit trail: who, when, from where, and the values before and after
- Signed logs are locked; a correction needs a reason and a new signature
- Document control with drafts until approved, review dates and a master document register
- Void reasons and record retention set per site
Never miss an inspection
- Several inspections a day, with a minimum per day for high-frequency areas
- An operating calendar with seasons, working days and closed days per site
- A missing-log report, plus a daily email of yesterday’s missing logs
- Late-entry flags and a device clock check
